About Little City Baby

I'm a Maine-transplanted social worker and mother of three small humans, as well as being owner to a one-woman run shop. I founded Little City Baby in 2018 because I found myself looking for a safe, well-crafted, sustainable, and local product for my own children and other families. Along the way, I discovered that I have a passion for making exactly what I was in search of! Now, I run this one-woman show with my core values guiding me; integrity, honesty, sustainability, and love. 1. About the products

All children's products and their parts are CPSC (U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission) safety tested and compliant for children ages 0-96 months. The silicone beads sold are:

2. "Do you make the products yourself?"

Short answer: No. I use a variety of reputable vendors for the various parts of the teethers and toys and then I assemble them by hand and with love!

3. "Do you offer custom pieces?"

Absolutely! The possibilities are endless and I love to make my customers happy! Please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly at cehurley81@gmail.com with any special requests and additional questions. My online catalog reflects only a small amount of what can we can create!

4. "What are the care instructions for cleaning these products? What products are safe to use to clean them?"

I do not recommend using any chemicals to clean my products. They can be cleaned easily with soap and water, or simply put the silicone items in the top rack of your dishwasher. To care for wood products, wipe them with a damp cloth and rub with a little olive oil or coconut oil and let soak in (both oils are food safe). Silicone products are heat resistant and safe for the dishwasher, microwave and freezer.

5. "Are these small pieces safe for my children to have? What ages are appropriate?"

All small pieces and parts on these products are well secured and it would take super-baby strength to change that! With that being said, I tested many of these products on my littlest when she was an infant and she continues to use them two years later! They are safe for all ages. With that being said, my product warning is as follows: "These toys can contain small products. Do not use if the product is damaged. Inspect toy after each use and discard it if damaged; silicone and wooden beads are choke hazards if the toy is damaged or broken. The buyer assumes all responsibility once the product is purchased. DO NOT leave a child under 3 unattended with toys."

6. "What's your return policy?"

Please email me for any questions regarding returns or exchanges. All products are made to order and I will work with you to ensure your order is correct and to your satisfaction.

7. "Do you ever run deals or sales?"

8. "How long does each product take to make? I want to know when to expect my shipment."

Depending on what you order, I have a 1-2 day turnaround time from when I receive your order. Custom pieces may take longer depending on what I have in stock.
